Dick was born on June 28, 1944, the son of the late Richard and Mary (Sargent) Reihl. Dick married the love of his life Carolyn McGuire on July 23, 1966, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church. In a world where not everyone finds their one true love, Carolyn and Dick were blessed to have each other for 56 years. Dick worked for CMF Manufacturing Incorporated as the Superintendent of Maintenance for over 20 years. Dick was known for his ability to fix anything, he was great with his hands, especially when it came to woodworking. Many neighbors would find Dick out mowing his lawn with a big smile on his face and no shirt on his back. He enjoyed all kinds of travel and took many trips with Carolyn and their children. They would often make family camping trips to the Green Cottage, where many bonfires and stories would be shared. Most of all, Dick loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, who will all greatly miss him.

Dick is survived by his wife, Carolyn Reihl; children, Kelly (Tim) Sweet, Jim (Brandy) Reihl, Carrie (Erick) Straus; grandchildren, Alaina (Kevin) Gross, Christopher (Jill) Sweet, Cole (Mikayla Jones) Reihl, Clay Reihl, Chase Reihl, Mason Straus, Stone Straus, Reagan Straus and Casey Straus; great-grandchildren Kalvin and Wren Gross and “The Sweet” twins who are on their way in five weeks; brothers: Tom (Vickie) Reihl, Pat Reihl, Dave Reihl and Don Reihl; sisters: Pam (Ken) Simmer and Christy Brasington; sister-in-law: Joyce Pety; brothers-is-law: Joe (Rhonda) McGuire, Dave (Sue Anne) McGuire, and John (Lise) McGuire; sisters-in-law: Mary Curtice and Margaret (Merle) Koutz; brother through friendship: Larry (Jan) Galgoci and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents and brother: Ron Reihl

The family would like to thank ProMedica Hospice and the Medical Care Facility for their kindness and care. They would like to extend a special thank-you to Shannon, Desiree and Chari.
