Obituary for Richard Lee Rodriguez
Rodriguez, Richard Lee, age 76, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Woodland Hospice House.
Funeral Services for Richard will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 27, at 12 p.m. with Rev. Doyle Perry officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Woodland Cemetery. A luncheon will be held in Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
Richard was born November 6, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Robert and Luella (Salano) Rodriguez. He worked for many years in skilled labor. Richard was a proud member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. He was known to enjoy spending time at the casino and was a fan of all kinds of sports.
Richard is survived by two children, Carmen Rodriguez of Lansing and William “Billy” Fox of Grand Rapids; 10 grandchildren, Carmen Rodriguez, Briana Owens, Sage Owens, William L Fox, Andrea May Fox, Emmanuel L Fox, Elijah L Fox, Yesenia Fox, Gitchinoodin L Fox, Wadaase L McSanby, Aakidewin L Fox, Armando Fox; 5 great-grandchildren, Carson Fox, Khloe Fox, Amelia Fox, Baby Emmanuel L Fox, Aiden L Fox; 3 Siblings, Robert Rodriguez of Mt. Pleasant, Mike (Belle) Zygmunt of Mt. Pleasant, Vicki Brown of Florida; many nieces and nephews.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Luella (Salano) Rodriguez and brother, Ron Rodriguez in 2006.
