Obituary for Richard Allen Stahl
STAHL, RICHARD ALLEN, age 53, of Clare, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at his home.
A Memorial Service for Richard will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 21, 2018, at 11 a.m. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Private interment of ashes will take place in Chippewa Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Richard was born August 28, 1965, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Jerry and Patricia (Haynes) Stahl. He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1983. Richard was employed at Soaring Eagle Casino for 22 years. He liked working on computers, traveling, watching Sci-Fi movies, and The RuPaul Show. Most of all, Uncle Rich loved spending time with his great-nieces and nephews.
Richard is survived by his parents Jerry and Patricia Stahl of Clare; brothers Jerry Van Stahl of Clare and John Michael Stahl of Alabama; nieces and nephews: Latricia Ann Stahl, Christopher Allen Stahl; great-nieces and nephews Isaiah Matthew Harris, Metao Prestyn Harris, Maddison May Stahl; and his best friend Terri “Boo Boo” Granger of Mt. Pleasant.
Richard was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Alvi and Mildred (Trigina) Haynes, and paternal grandparents Lydia and Leo Stahl.
