Obituary for Rita Pauline Larrance
LARRANCE, RITA PAULINE, age 88, of Lake, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Magnolia House in Davison, MI.
Funeral Services for Rita will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mark Manning officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. A luncheon will take place following the committal service in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of Service on Tuesday, June 11, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Rita was born on February 21, 1931, the daughter of Samuel and Linnie (Talent) Gentry. She married Kenneth Larrance on September 20, 1949, in St. Clair Shores. Rita had been employed as a nursing aide, a bookkeeper for Dixie Auto Body, and in a bakery. She attended the Trinity Wesleyan Church. Rita enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening, but most of all she loved taking care of her family.
Rita is survived by her children Kenneth “Daryl” Larrance (Tracy) of Lake and Gayle Losinger (Robert) of Lapeer; grandchildren Kenneth “Kenny” D. Larrance, Jr., Tony Losinger (Katie) and Ryan Losinger (Amanda); great-grandchildren Zachary, Ethan, Kelsie, Kayliana, Paige and Hayden.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Larrance on March 11, 2011; brothers Cordell Gentry and Kenny Gentry and sister Betty Bass.
