Obituary for Robert Andrew Huff
HUFF, ROBERT ANDREW, age 62, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021, at his home.
A Memorial Service for Robert will take place at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Robert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 21, 1958, the son of James and Rosella (Mink) Huff. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Robert worked as a corrections officer, promoting to Sergeant for the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department from 1995-2012. Prior to that, he worked for Lake County, Illinois Sheriff Department. Robert was a family-oriented man, he loved spending time with them and cherished his grandsons. He was a lighthearted jokester. Weightlifting, target shooting, listening to music and singing, and firearms were his favorite hobbies.
Robert is survived by his daughter Sarah Denslow of Mt. Pleasant; son Johnathon Huff (Heather) of Mecosta; grandsons Cameron Jay Robert Denslow and Silas James Denslow; brother Michael Huff of Newark, OH; aunt Betty Cordell; and many other extended family members.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter Mary Huff; and his brothers Lonnie and Jimmy Huff.
