Mayra, Robert Rick, age 70, of Mount Pleasant passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.
A private Memorial service will take place. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
Robert was born on April 16, 1948, in Escanaba, the son of Robert and Idabelle (Kalin) Mayra. He married Janet Matthews on March 23, 1979. Robert was a Michigan State Police Officer for 25 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Eagles Club. Robert was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers, liked to play poker and barbecue.
Robert is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Valerie Mayra of Clarkston, Julie Mayra of Mt. Pleasant, Mindy Mayra of Mt. Pleasant, Ashley Mayra of Royal Oak and Robert Mayra of Mt. Pleasant, Jodi (Jesse) Heard of Jennison and Kristine (Todd) Vitito of Gladstone; 2 grandchildren; brother Rory Mayra of Katy, TX; sister Carmen (Stan) Bessonen of Metamora.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents
