Bobby was born on September 8, 1996, in Escanaba, the son of Robert and Janet (Matthews) Mayra. Robert, who went by Bobby to family, was a sweet and loving son and brother. He was incredibly smart, having earned many awards during his time at Mount Pleasant High School where he graduated in 2015 and received a full academic scholarship to Mid Michigan Community College where he studied technology. He had a quick wit and always knew how to make people laugh. He had a soft spot for all dogs, especially his companions Zoey and Olive. He had a passion for computers, politics and creating music and was proud of the album he recently created, developed and sold. Bobby recently embraced Christianity and looked forward to Sunday services at Faith Lutheran Church. Bobby was a compassionate and kind young man who will be missed by many.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Janet Mayra; siblings, Valerie Mayra of Clarkston, Julie Mayra of Saginaw, Mindy Mayra of Mt. Pleasant, and Ashley Mayra of Royal Oak.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mayra on October 19, 2018.
