Obituary for Rodney Paul Marr
Rodney Paul Marr, age 76 passed away peacefully June 18, 2021 at his home with his wife and dog by his side.
Rodney was born to Reynold and Thelma (Randall) Marr on September 24, 1944 at home in Wheeler, Michigan. He married Kathleen Krueger on June 12, 1981 in Las Vegas.
Rodney is survived by his wife Kathleen of 40 years; children, Michael (Michele) Marr of Fulton, NY, Patrick (Angie) Marr of Navarre, FL, Ryan (Rebecca) Marr of Medford, NJ, Kris (Jamie) Hurley of Comstock Park, MI, and bonus son Caleb (Brittany) Marr; sister Jane (Randy Conley) Raiger and brother -in-law Ron Duquette. He also leaves 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Betty.
He was a past member of the Advisory Board of B & W Farmer's co-op, Past Breckenridge representative of Michigan Sugar, past member of Eastern Michigan Vegetable Growers co-op, past member of State Board of Michigan Vegetable Growers and Past President of the Saginaw Bay Walleye Club.
A graveside service will be held for Rodney at 11 am Friday, June 25 at Ridgelawn Cemetary in Breckenridge, Michigan with a gathering after at their home to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, Mitten Mutts Dog Rescue or any charity you love.
Rodney loved hunting and fishing and anything outdoors and in keeping with this his service will be casual.
