Obituary for Roger Lee Rhodarmer
Roger Lee Rhodarmer 62 of Harrison passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Roger was born December 7, 1957 in San Gabriel, California the son of Marion B. Rhodarmer and Georgia M. (Rogers) Rhodarmer. Roger was united in marriage to Ms. Donna M. Blalock on February 22, 1997 in Wayne, Michigan. Mr. Rhodarmer spent many years working as a machinist with various Tool and Die manufacturing companies.
Roger had resided in Harrison since 2012, moving from Westland, Michigan. He was an active member of The Potter’s House Family Worship Center, Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Roger was very passionate about cars, he enjoyed building, repairing and attending car shows. He also enjoyed watching car races and drag races. He enjoyed remodeling homes, tinkering, camping and traveling around the United States.
Surviving Mr. Rhodarmer is his loving wife of twenty-three years, Donna M. Rhodarmer of Harrison, three children; Amanda Suggs and husband Melvin of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Lee Blalock of Harrison and Tanya Blalock also of Harrison, four grandchildren; Wyatt Suggs, Matthew Suggs, Leia Kaminski and Savanah Robertson, two sisters; Betty Calvert of California and Sheri Blair and husband John of Jackson, Michigan, plus many nieces and nephews. Mr. Rhodarmer was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life services honoring Roger will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at The Potter’s House Family Worship Center, 5346 East Deerfield Road, Mount Pleasant, Michigan 48858.
