I met Romy back in the late 70's, when we were in high school. We lived in the same neighborhood, and his sister Cassie and I were very close friends. I loved the Paladino family, his mother Dale was like a second mother to me, and Romy was my first crush. I remember even back then how close to the Lord he was, when I was 15, I went to church with his family and I was so touched on how intensely he worshiped God. There were always sparks between us, and we always cared about each other, but it never went further than that. I'am so thankful that our paths have crossed, because the Lord used him, and his family to lead others to Him. I know Romy has had his struggles in life, as we all do, but to know that after all these years, that he kept such a close relationship with God is so comforting to me, and still another way that God is using him to show His faithfulness. Rest in peace Romy.

I did not know Rom very well, but he stopped by to cut my lawn several times and did a professional job of it. He shared his faith in the Lord so I knew he was living for the Lord the best that any of us can. I did not know he had children, sisters, parents. My heart goes out to the family and that all of you may know the Peace of God in the days ahead. Bob Banta, Mt. Pleasant.
