Obituary for Ronald Lee Bartlett
Ronald “Ron” Lee Bartlett 68 of Florida, passed away October 8, 2020 in Fernandina Beach, Florida after a long and courageous battle with his illness. Ronald was born September 21, 1952 in Owosso, Michigan the son of Robert and Marge Bartlett. Mr. Bartlett was united in marriage to Ms. Sherry McKee on September 27, 1993 in Flint, Michigan.
Ron retired from General Motors Corporation-Buick Division after thirty-four years of dedicated service. He then moved to Harrison in 2008, coming from Davison, Michigan. Ron and Sherry fulfilled a dream and moved to Florida full-time in 2018. He loved restoring automobiles, traveling with his wife Sherry throughout the United States, watching sun rises and sun sets in Florida beside his beloved Sherry, as well as dining together in Florida at their favorite restaurant, “Down Under”.
Surviving Ronald is his loving wife, Sherry Bartlett of Harrison, one daughter, Jennie Garber and husband Randy of Traverse City, Michigan, four sons; Erich Pyles and wife Heather of West Virginia, Chris Pyles and wife Andrea of Tennessee, Randy Bartlett of Owosso, Michigan and Ryan Bartlett of Langston, one grandson, Austin Pyles and his fiancé Olivia, two brothers; Bobby Bartlett and wife Debbie of Perry, Michigan and Steven Bartlett and wife Michelle of Owosso, many loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Bartlett was preceded in death by his parents.
Celebration of Life services honoring Mr. Bartlett will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Mr. Joel Johnson officiating. Family will receive guest and visitors on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until time of services.
