Obituary for Ronald Cleo Boyd
BOYD, RONALD CLEO, age 72, of Weidman, passed away Friday, October 2, 2020, at Medilodge in Mt. Pleasant.
A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 1-4 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. A luncheon will immediately follow at Weidman Community Center, 5918 W. Bridge Street, Weidman, Michigan 48893. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Ron was born May 2, 1948, in Jackson, the son of Cleo and Nora (Jacobs) Boyd. He worked as a direct care worker for McBride AFC Homes for many years. Ron married Judy Allbee on August 16, 1977. Ron liked fishing and loved NASCAR racing, especially going to the races.
Ron is survived by his wife Judy Boyd; children: Ronald (Amy) Boyd of Blanchard, Tammy (Julius) Jacobs of Blanchard, Jennifer Boyd (Tom Arnold) of Weidman, Scott (Renee) Boyd of Weidman, Elaine (Jeff) Brewer of Farwell, Ricky (Lillian) Brooks of Stanton, Sheryl (Shaun) Kenworthy of Weidman, Vincent (Lisa) Brooks of Vestaburg, Kathy (Lonnie) Loomis of Remus, and Sean (Dianne) Jacobs of Shepherd; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers Cleo (Nancy) Boyd of Coleman, Tony (Jenny) Boyd of Millington; and sister Linda Boyd of Lake.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Fred, Dallas, and Chuck; sister Sandy; great-grandson Cole Cook; and great-great-granddaughter Amari Groh.
