Obituary for Ronald Harry Kuschel
Ronald Harry Kuschel, age 77, of Harrison, MI, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
Ronald was born on November 16, 1946, in Detroit, MI to parents Harry Kuschel and Lucy (Sobczak) Kuschel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, and now lovingly joins, his wife, Joelene, and brother-in-law, Randy Gallison.
It was in Detroit where Ronald would eventually meet and marry the love of his life, Joelene Percha, while playing drums in a band. Together, they would be blessed with a son, Daniel, and move to their home in Harrison.
Ronald loved music of all types and played the drums for over forty years. He was an avid railroad and model train fan and was lovingly regarded as a sweet and fun man.
Ronald is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jessie; in addition to two sisters, a brother in-law, and a myriad of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A Memorial Service for Ronald will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 12 p.m. A luncheon will immediately follow in the adjoining Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
