PITTS, RONALD STEVEN, age 68, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center in Midland.

There will be no services at this time. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made Humane Animal Treatment Society.

Ron was born November 4, 1953, in Fort Belvoir, VA, the son of Ralph and Barbara (McBride) Pitts. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1971 and studied graphic design at Ferris State University. Ron enjoyed fishing and had a talent for using his hands and building things. He married Cheryl Sheldon in Edmore on October 18, 2000.

Ron is survived by his wife Cheryl Pitts; children Ian (Barrett) Pitts of Chicago, IL, Desiree Dean of Mt. Pleasant, Ryan (Susie) Dean of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Zoey, Tyler, and Hendrix; father Ralph Pitts of Mt. Pleasant; sister Cindy Miller of Mt. Pleasant; brother Robert (Laura) Snyder-Pitts of Coldwater; and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother Barbara; son Aaron Osborn; and brother Jamey Pitts.
