Obituary for Rosanna Marie Keshick
Keshick, Rosanna Marie, age 33, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022.
Funeral Services for Rosanna will be held at the Tribal Gym on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. The family will receive friends at the gym on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for a fund to be set up for Rosanna’s children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Rosanna was born November 29, 1988, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Angel Romero Sr. and Margaret (Keshick) Rosario. She graduated from Aabizikaawin with the class of 2006 and earned her bachelor’s degree from CMU in 2016. Rosanna worked for the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe for over the past 10 years in the business regulations department. She also worked for Amazon Delivery, DoorDash, and had recently become a notary public. Rosanna was very active helping others in any way she could, serving on various tribal committees. She was very loved and well respected in her community and will be missed by so many. Rosanna loved traveling, going to concerts, and any time spent with her family. Beyond anything else, she loved her children and was an unforgettable mother.
Rosanna is survived by her children, Natalia M. Martin, Terrance L. Martin, Johnathan J. Ashford, Amani N. Ashford, all of Mt. Pleasant; her mother Margaret Rosario of Mt. Pleasant; her father Angel Romero, Sr. of St. Louis; siblings, Sara Jackson, Angel Romero, Jr., Alex Romero, Sonya Romero, all of Mt. Pleasant, Elizabeth Romero and Maria Romero, both of St. Louis; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Rosanna was preceded in death by her grandparents Elmer, Sr. and Patricia Keshick, Juan, Sr. and Rosa Romero; uncle Elmer Keshick, Jr.; cousin Ashlee Keshick; and stepmother Christina Romero.
