Obituary for Ruth Crook
Ruth Crook, age 80, of Coleman, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland.
Funeral Services for Ruth will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 22, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Earl Marsh of the Coleman Assembly of God officiating. A luncheon will follow the Service in the Reflections Reception Center. Interment will then take place in Kelly Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 21, from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, December 22, from 9 a.m. until the time of Service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Ruth was born on April 12, 1938, in Midland County, the daughter of James and Lula (Linville) Breedlove. She married Larry Crook in February 1982 in Lakeland, FL, and was a homemaker. Ruth attended Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland, FL. She was a member of Coleman Assembly of God and cherished her church family. She had previously worked for the Kerr Law Firm and later was a caregiver for her family.
Ruth is survived by her brother Thomas (Drue) Breedlove of Lehigh Acres, FL; sister Sylvia (Wallace) Williamson of Shepherd; niece Sally Blubaugh of Mt. Pleasant; many nieces, nephews, and great-nephews; step-granddaughter Katie Beatenbaugh of WI and step-great-grandchildren Charles and Jennifer.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband; her step-daughter Jennifer Beatenbaugh; sister Carolyn Breedlove in 2016; Mary Ann Blubaugh in 2015; brothers Eugene and James Breedlove.
