MUSSER, RUTH EMILY, age 87, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Woodland Hospice House.

A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 27, at 11 a.m. with Chris Gardner officiating. A Luncheon will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463. The family will receive friends at the chapel on Thursday, January 26, from 6 to 9 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice or the Mt. Pleasant Eagle's. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Ruth was born on June 1, 1929, in Isabella County, the daughter of William and Wilma (Meier) Donald. Ruth worked for Ferro Manufacturing for 36 years, until its closure. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Mt. Pleasant Eagles 4463. Ruth was an avid card player.

Ruth is survived by brother, John (Betty) Donald of Charlotte; sisters, Margaret Thompson of Mt. Pleasant, Loretta Turner of Mt. Pleasant, Maryellen (Charles) Holliday of Lake Isabella, Doris McArthur of Weidman, Sharon Foster of Bradenton, FL, and Trudy (JD) Atwood of Holt; and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Musser; parents; brother, Richard; sister, Bertha, and niece, Bernita Cuthbert.
