Obituary for Sally Ann Reyes
Sally Ann (Green) Reyes, age 86, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at Margaret's Meadows.
Per Sally's wishes, cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory in Mt. Pleasant https://www.daisyhillcrematory.com/ and no services are scheduled at this time. In memory of Sally, those who wish may make a donation to the Isabella County Soup Kitchen.
Sally was born February 16, 1937, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Reba (Maxwell) Green. Sally married Juan Reyes on March 1, 1971, in Lansing, MI. She worked for Central Michigan University for 17 years as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Sally moved to Alaska for two years and started Head Start Programs for children, returning to Mt. Pleasant and retiring from CMU in 1992. She will be remembered for the many hours of community service to the Salvation Army, Goodwill of Mt. Pleasant, and the Isabella County Soup Kitchen. She was an avid CMU football and basketball supporter and fan. Sally loved flower gardening and collecting antiques, but most of all she loved her family.
Sally is survived by her husband of 53 years, Juan Reyes; children, Leslie (Tony) Menocal, Carrie (Ray) Boone, Jon (Haydee) Mahannah, Chris (Carla) Mahannah, Allison Fisher, Renee (Tim Margitish) Cusmano, Dana (Trent Trepanier) Reyes; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; loyal Shih Tzu, Tanto.
Sally was preceded in death by her; parents; son, Mark Mahannah; brothers, Tom, Dick, and Dave Green; loyal Shih Tzu, Jazz.
