Samantha Oriana Cosway 24 of Waterford, Michigan, formerly of Harrison, passed away suddenly Sunday, November 11, 2018 at her home. Samantha was born May 13, 1994 in Clare, Michigan the daughter of Tammi Lyn Bowers and William R. Cosway.
Ms. Cosway had been a life resident of Harrison. She enjoyed camping, roller skating, waterskiing, boating, listening to music, going to the movies and baking and cooking.
Surviving Samantha is her father and step-mother, William R. and Carol Cosway of Harrison, her two daughters; Oriana Sheppard and Arlynn Sheppard, her son, Nicholas Sheppard, a half-sister, Roxanne Cosway of Corpus Christi, Texas, three half-brothers; Tom Brake and wife Loressa of Elwell, Michigan, William Cosway of Minnesota and Erick Brake of Mt. Pleasant, three step sisters; Kellieann Carver of Harrison, Patricia Hale of Harrison and Seana Iadipaolo also of Harrison, one step brother, Clifford Thompson of Harrison, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Samantha was preceded in death by her mother, Tammi Lyn Brake and one brother, Douglas James Bowman.
Celebration of Life services honoring Samantha will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison. Family and friends are encouraged to gather for a time of sharing on Saturday, November 24, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts in memory of Ms. Cosway may be considered to the Cosway family, in care of: Mr. William R. Cosway.
