Obituary for Scott Gregory Kingsbury
KINGSBURY, SCOTT GREGORY, age 42, of Dearborn, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
No services will be held at this time. Cremation will take place at Daisy Hill Crematory in Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions in Scott’s name can be made to any local soup kitchen or food pantry of your choice.
Scott was born in Stuttgart, Germany, on July 19, 1978, the son of Dennis and Rose (Nowicki) Kingsbury. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1996. Scott was employed at the Dearborn Inn as a banquet chef for the past several years. Scott loved cooking, photographing, reading, playing chess, and listening to vinyl records.
Scott is survived by his parents Dennis and Rose Kingsbury of Mt. Pleasant; sister Holly (Anthony) Viaches of East Lansing; nephew Ethan; niece Alicia; and many aunts, uncles, and cousin.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents.
