Obituary for Sharon Alice Davis
Sharon Alice Davis, age 72, of Ithaca, passed away Wednesday, July 15th, 2020, surrounded by family.
Sharon was born on June 8, 1948, in Biddeford Maine, the daughter of Lincoln and Christina Bishop.
Sharon spent her life caring for others, working in nursing homes, ALFs, and in home care. Being retired she spent her time crafting, supporting her grandchildrens' interests, and hunting for the best deal via thrift stores or yard sales. Sharon was an avid advocate of both human and animal rights which brought her joy to make even a slight difference to the world.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Darcy (Mike) Sierra, grandchildren Sean-Paul (Sam) Brookshier, Alexiz Rice, Sierra Brookshier, Saint Brookshier, Sienna Brookshier, Maribelle Sierra, and sister Shelia (Frank) Cook.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter Sera Brookshier.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, you might consider donating to your local animal shelter or NICU.
