Obituary for Sharon Kay Horning (Onstott)
HORNING, SHARON KAY, age 70, of Lake Isabella, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at her home.
Sharon’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be no formal service at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Christian Church, 400 E. State Street, St. Johns, Michigan, 48879. Cremation will take place at Daisy Hill.
Sharon was born January 29, 1952, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Donald and Helen (Baronik) Onstott. She graduated from Beal City High School with the class of 1970. Sharon married Ronald Horning on August 30, 1974, in Mt. Pleasant. She was a past member of Community Christian Church in St. Johns. Sharon loved spending time at the cabin in Paradise, Michigan. She also liked playing softball, golfing, and flower gardening.
Sharon is survived by her husband Ronald Horning of Lake Isabella; children Ronald (Lisa) Horning, Jr. of Mt. Pleasant, Larry Horning of Lake Isabella, Victoria Elbeialy of St. Johns, Brandon (Annette) Horning of Ithaca; 9 grandchildren; brothers Norman Onstott, Ronald (Kay) Onstott, Phil Onstott, Richard (Suzie) Onstott, Terry (Lynn) Onstott, Dennis (Barb) Onstott, Greg Onstott, all of Mt. Pleasant; sisters Sandra (John) Manley, Cindy (Mike) Smith, Kathy (John) Spiris, all of Mt. Pleasant and Patricia Gross of Shepherd.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Ken, Walter, Tom, and Stanley Onstott.
