COOK, SHARREN LOUISE, age 76, of Shepherd passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

Sharren was born on May 8, 1941, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Francis and Margaret (Smith) Coldwell. She married David Cook on September 9, 1961. Sharren worked for in the mailroom at Central Michigan University for 25 years and was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Coleman. Sharren enjoyed flower gardening, watching the wildlife in her back yard, and bowling.

Sharren is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Cook; daughter, Debra Cook; grandchildren, Thomas, Katie, and Kellie Cole; brothers, Thomas Caldwell of Farwell and John (Carol) Coldwell of Lake Leelanau.

Sharren was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
