DENNIS, SHIRLEY JOYCE, age 85, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, under the care of Mid Michigan Hospice.
A Private Graveside Service for Shirley will take place at Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Shirley was born on April 6, 1935, in Dogtown, Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Elmer and Martha (DeMoines) Spencer. She married Newell Dennis on June 14, 1953. Shirley loved her family, especially her granddaughters.
Shirley is survived by her children, Martha Dennis of Mason, David Dennis of Mt. Pleasant, and Lisa (Russell) Clifford of Ann Arbor; 2 granddaughters, Shirley and Charlotte; and 2 great-grandchildren, Isaac and Alice.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Newell Dennis in 2017; son, Newell "Thomas" Dennis; parents; and siblings.
