Shirley Ann Bowers (Ellis, Poland) Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away
Friday October 21, 2022 at age 87. Shirley was born December 30, 1935 in Wixom, MI. To Delbert and
Irene Bowers. She was married to Jack Ellis on November 3, 1957 together they owned J&S Shell
Restaurant in Harrison in the 70’s where she devoted her time to the restaurant and her love for
cooking. Shirley also enjoyed playing cards and bingo, but most importantly she loved spending time
with her beloved family. Shirley is survived by her brother Donald Bowers (Rose) of California, daughter
Linda (John) Loria of Harrison, three grandchildren Stacy (Richard) Graves, Jason Loria, and Lindsay Loria,
and seven great-grandchildren. A host of cousins and nieces and nephews.Shirley was predeceased by
her daughters Cindy (Smith) and Marilyn (Reid), 1 brother David and 1 sister Rose Marie Olson. Jack and
Geordy in 2005. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside service at a later
date.
