Obituary for Steven Edward "Doc" Wilson
Wilson, Steven (Doc) Edward, age 65 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his home after a battle with cancer.
Services for Steven will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 12 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will follow in Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Karmanos Cancer Institute at McLaren Flint. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Steven was born on January 5, 1957, in Carson City. He was the first-born twin, son of Harold and Jeanette (Tripp) Wilson. Steven graduated from Shepherd High School with the class of 1975. He worked for Halloway Construction and Miller Construction for most of his career. After retiring, Steven worked for 12 years on the family farm with his brother and plowed snow with his nephew. He was always lending a hand fixing machinery and using his welding skills. Steven enjoyed his afternoon drives getting ice cream and looking at crops.
Steven is survived by his parents: Harold and Jeanette of Shepherd; long-time companion: Beth Burggraf, of Mt. Pleasant; daughter: Lisanina (Joe) Leonard of Mt. Pleasant; twin brother: Frank (Lisa) Wilson of Shepherd; brother: Fred (Lynn) Wilson of Shepherd; sister: Karen (Adam) Hall, of Shepherd; 6 granchildren; 1 great grandchild; many nieces and nephews and friends.
