Obituary for Sue Marie Denman (Sims)
Sue Marie Denman, age 70, of Blanchard passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at her home under the care of Heartland Hospice.
A Memorial Service for Sue will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Raymond "Butch" Hutson officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow at Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Sue was born on October 4, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Richard "Pete" and Leona (Swindlehurst) Sims. She married Willard Denman on April 20, 1973. Sue was a jack of all trades. She loved remodeling the home, fixing doll houses, going camping, fishing, wood working, traveling, but most importantly, spending time with her family.
Sue is survived by her husband of 50 years, Willard; children, Richard (Tammi) Denman, Willard (Tracy) Denman, Jr., Mary (Pat) Smith, and Hugh (Catherine) Denman; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Kay Dell and Gayla Sims.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Christy (Ken) Summers.
