Obituary for Susan Diane Bonner (Ecklin)
Susan Diane Bonner age 75 of Harrison passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Susan was born September 2, 1948, the daughter of Jerry Ecklin and Carolyn Yvonne (Hoard) Ecklin. Susan completed Night School at Harrison High School and earned her diploma in 1985. Susan had resided in Harrison since 1981, moving from Midland, Michigan. She enjoyed tending to her goldfish pond, swimming and maintaining her swimming pool, walking around barefoot and collecting rocks and gem stones.
Surviving Susan are her family; Carol Sue Weeks and husband Darin of Potterville, Michigan, Brian Howard Rolfe II and wife Christine of Midland and Nicki Anne Suppes and husband Scott of Midland, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren four brothers; David Cowell of Harrison, Michael Cowell of Coleman, Michigan, Christopher Cowell of Harrison and John Cowell also of Harrison, her children’s father, Brian Howard Rolfe of Midland, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Susan was preceded in death by her parents; Carolyn Yvonne Cowell, David Cowell and Jerry Ecklin, one daughter, Teri Lea Rolfe, one grandson, Kasey Scott Bentley and three brothers; Scott Cowell, Nicholas Cowell and Dennis Mills.
A time of visitation for Susan will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Clark-Stocking Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service, 165 West Oak St., Harrison. Burial will immediately follow visitation at Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.
