Obituary for Susan Marie Watson
Watson, Susan Marie, age 74, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.
Funeral Services for Susan will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel and on Thursday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donor’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Susan was born April 26, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of the late Alvin and Nettie (Grove) William. She was married to Darrell L. Watson in 1977. He preceded her in death. Susan worked for the State of Michigan as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 15 years and for the Masonic Home for 9 years. Susan enjoyed going shopping and running the roads with her friends. Often she would drive till she found a nice place to stop for lunch and then find a new way home. She always loved family barbeque cookouts.
Susan is survived by her son, Christopher William of Weidman; grandson, Lee (Debra) Mouck of Weidman; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry William of Mt. Pleasant; and many nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrell Watson; grandson, Josh William; sister, Margaret Ann Ford; brothers, Norman Lee Fairchild and Ricky Thomas William.
