Obituary for Telford Lee "Shorty" Lienhardt
LIENHARDT, TELFORD L. "SHORTY", age 87, of Weidman passed away Monday, June 28, 2021.
Funeral Services for Telford will be held at Weidman Baptist Church on Thursday, July 1, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dean Willard officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Weidman Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and the church.
Telford was born on May 8, 1934, in Johnstown, PA, son of Theodore and Beatrice (Fleming) Lienhardt. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Bottorff on November 22, 1957, in Taylor, MI. Telford proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a faithful member of the Weidman Baptist Church and loved to do woodworking.
Telford is survived by his sons, Dennis A. (Florence) Lienhardt of Riverview, MI, and Darrin M. (Margaret) Lienhardt of Blue Springs, MS; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Telford was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2003; son, David L. Lienhardt in 2016; and parents.
