Obituary for Thalma Ray Brown
BROWN, THALMA RAY, age 69, of Alma, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center-Gratiot, surrounded by her family.
Per Thalma’s wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Thalma was born October 13, 1949, in Midland, the daughter of Lemuel and Evelyn (Odle) Brown. She loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Thalma enjoyed drawing, sewing, crafting, and going to garage sales.
Thalma is survived by two sisters: Alice (Robert) Evans of Illinois, and Zella (Otto) Matthies of Holly; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Thalma was preceded in death by her parents; 13 siblings; 3 nephews Gary, Rodney, and Shurley; and a great nephew Elihu.
