Obituary for Thomas Michael D'Hoest Sr.
D'HOEST, THOMAS MICHAEL, SR., age 65, of Remus passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his home under the care of Grace Hospice.
Graveside Service for Tom will be held at Wambolt Cemetery on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at 12 noon. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel.
Tom was born on June 26, 1955, in Detroit, MI, the son of Charles and Patricia (Carpenter) D'Hoest. He married Judy Chavis. Tom loved to cook, caring for his lawn and gardens, and his Mo-Town music.
Tom is survived by his mother, Patricia; children, Angie D’Hoest of Detroit, Amanda (Earl) Brown of Remus, Thomas D’Hoest, Jr. of Remus, and Tyler D’Hoest of Remus; 16 grandchildren; siblings, John Dhoest, Joan Dhoest, Sue (Mike) Kelley, and David (Yana) Dale; and many nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Judy D'Hoest in 2015; daughter, Amy Chavis; father; and siblings, Jerry, Anne, and Danny Dhoest.
