Obituary for Todd Glen Hamilton
HAMILTON, TODD GLEN, “Batman”, one of the good guys, age 50, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Todd was born in Mt. Pleasant, August 25, 1972. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1990. Todd, nicknamed “Batman” by his coworkers, worked for Mitsuba Corporation in Mt. Pleasant for 27 years where he gained many friendships. He had many talents and could fix just about anything. Todd was a great family man who loved making everyone laugh, whether it be living room dance competitions with his family or card games. He was an avid U of M fan, but his true passion was golfing; he was a member of the weekly men’s league and spent many days on the golf course. Todd liked competitive poker games with friends and family, hunting, and riding four wheelers with his dogs Bella and Nash close behind him.
Todd is survived by his girlfriend Aubrey Groat of Mt. Pleasant; daughters Alyssa Hamilton (Seth Deming) and Hanna Hamilton; son Forest Hartupee; parents Dale and Vickie Sprague, all of Mt. Pleasant; brothers Ryan (Mary) Hamilton of Canadian Lakes, Dana Sprague of Mt. Pleasant; Aubrey’s parents Wayne and Linda Groat of Florida and their families; many friends, and other extended family members; and mother to his daughters Carol Hartupee of Mt. Pleasant.
Todd was preceded in death by his father Arthur Hamilton; grandparents Theodore and Bernadine Cook; and grandfather Tom Hamilton.
A Memorial Service for Todd will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
