Denkema, Vernice JoAnn (Beckwith, Foerster), of Remus passed away on February 2, 2022 at Margaret Meadows.
Cremation has taken place at Daisy Hill Crematory in Mt. Pleasant.

A celebration of life for Vernice will be planned for early summer of 2022.
Memorial contributions may be made to the “Wounded Warrior Project”, “Operation Blessing”, or “St. Jude Children's Research Hospital”. Envelopes will be available at Clark Funeral Chapel.
Vernice was born to Lilah Arnold and Charles Henry Beckwith on February 27, 1931. She was employed by Amway in Ada, Michigan for over 35 years and performed her duties as a lead quality assurance technician upon retirement. She was a volunteer at the Isabella County Soup Kitchen where she served as a lead chef. She was on the board for the Trinity Westland Church in Isabella County, Remus, Michigan and served as a member of the Antique Airplane Association and Woodruff Lake Airport Association, Inc..
Vernice is survived by her four children, Hope Lyn of Georgia, Richard (Spouse-Venjeana) Foerster Jr. of Michigan, Virginia “Gigi” (Spouse-Mark) McComber of Michigan, and Charity “Cricket” Foerster of Michigan. Vernice was blessed with an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
