Obituary for Veronica Ann Schutt
Schutt, Veronica Ann, age 83, of Rosebush, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2023 at Green Acres of Mt. Pleasant.
Services for Veronica will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. Interment will take place in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, January 9, from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Isabella County Commission on Aging or Care Team Hospice.
Veronica was born November 19, 1940, in Perry, the daughter of George John Daniel and Lois E. (Cross) Daniel. After graduating from Perry High School, she attended trade school for 3 years. Veronica married Donavon Schutt on December 1, 1962, in Morrice, MI. She was a devoted housewife and homemaker as she and Donavon raised their children. Veronica was a member of the Isabella County Genealogical Society and a parishioner of St. Henry’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed being involved in 4H, crocheting, sewing, and traveling in campers. Veronica and Donavon were enthusiastic participants in Square Dancing.
Veronica is survived by her children, Lynette Schutt of Grand Rapids, Wesley (Cheryl) Schutt of Weidman, Cheryl (Peter) Vogel of Weidman and Gene (Stacy) Schutt of Shepherd; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and brothers, John Daniel and Charles Daniel.
Veronica is preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Katilyn Vogel and brother, George.
