Obituary for Vickie Teresa Skinner
VICKIE TERESA SKINNER, age 67, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday March 14, 2023, at Mt. Pleasant AFC Home from complications related to Parkinson’s disease.
Vickie was born July 2, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of Wesley and Janice (Vowden) Skinner. Vickie lived with her family in England, California, Nebraska, Germany, and Ohio before taking up residence in Michigan. Vickie is survived by her brother Wesley (Carol) Skinner, Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska as well as 3 nieces and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Vickie enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. She loved all animals, especially dogs and horses.
Burial will take place in late April 2023 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Harrison, in the company of her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Listening Ear, 107 E. Illinois Street, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, 48858.
