Obituary for Vivian Pelcher

PELCHER, VIVIAN KAY, age 50, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Funeral Services for Vivian will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at Clark Family Funeral Chapel with Jake and Mary Pine - Traditional Healers officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A Luncheon will take at the Reflections Reception Center following the committal service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Vivian was born April 24, 1966, in Flint, the daughter of Basic and Sharon (Isaac) Naganashe. She was a homemaker. Vivian was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. She enjoyed playing bingo, golfing, traveling and movies with popcorn. Vivian loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Vivian is survived by her special friend, Robin Nieto; her children Marcine (Dominick) Shaffer of Ithaca, Theresa Pelcher, Angela Nieto (Danny Loga), and Bianca Nieto (Taylor Vasquez), all of Mt. Pleasant; 7 grandchildren; brother Andrew Naganashe of Lansing; sisters, Charlene (Robert) Chancellor of Flint and Karen Naganashe of Mt. Pleasant.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark Stevens.
