Obituary for Volinda Jenine "Lyn" Morsey (Cleveland)
Morsey, Volinda Jenine, age 57, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at McLaren Central Michigan.
Services for Volinda will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 8, 2022, at 12 p.m. Interment will take place at Denver Township Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Seventh Generation. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service.
Volinda was born on May 22, 1965, in Grand Haven, MI, the daughter of Kyren Cleveland and Carolyn (Collins) Cleveland. She was a proud member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Volinda enjoyed camping, tubing, kayaking, shopping, coffee, and playing Bingo. She was very family oriented. Volinda loved pugs and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Volinda is survived by her significant other: Joe Quintero; children: Brandy (Brandon) Ross, Velorie Cleveland (Alex Martinez), Careena (Jeffrey) Myers and Jenny (Jordan) Arbogast; grandchildren: McKenzie, Justice, Liberty, James, Isabella, Analicia, Ramsay, Liam, Peyton, Jeydan, Kayden, Roslyn and Lyric; great-grandchildren: Justice, Jr., Hayden, Jayce and Lincoln; brothers: Vince (Jennifer) Cleveland and Varen (April) Cleveland; sisters: Valorie (Scott) Semmens and Veronica Bos.
Volinda was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Miranda Morsey and baby Arbogast
