Wanda Marie Morford, age 74, of St. Louis passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant.
A Memorial Service for Wanda will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at Mount Saint Joseph Catholic Church in St. Louis, MI. A luncheon will follow at the St. Louis VFW Post 3055. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Animal Treatment Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Wanda was born on April 17, 1946, in Alma, the daughter of John and Anna (Markovich) Vorcak. She married Marlyn C. Morford on June 4, 1964, in St. Louis. Wanda worked as a custodian for Mount Saint Joseph Catholic Church in St. Louis. Wanda loved going to flea markets, antique shops, and garage sales, looking for hobnail glassware. She enjoyed decorating cakes and going camping.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Marlyn Morford; children, Kevin (Lynn) Morford and Chris Morford; grandchildren, AJ (Megan) Perram, Britney Perram, Anna (Scott) Kitzmiller, Elizabeth Fountain, Alex Morford, and Keira Hopkins; and great-grandchildren, Rubie Perram, Danielle Perram, Payton Fountain, Greyson Perram, Sophie Fountain, and Olivia Kitzmiller.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; sister, June Goschke; and brother, John Vorcak.
