Obituary for William Thomas Gordon Sr.
William Thomas Gordon Sr. Age 68, of Mount Pleasant Michigan, lost his battle to cancer on December 27th, 2020, in his home with family by his side.
William was born in Lansing Michigan, on the 27th day of July 1952, son of Donald Coin Gordon and Mary Alice (Mussleman) Gordon. Throughout Bills life he always had a sincere love for being outdoors hunting or fishing with his sons. Bill was also a man that could find hours of pleasure in any magazines he was able to get his hands on.
In 1976, when Bill was just 24 years old, he met 16-year-old Ida Marie Kyser. It was instantly love at first sight, On July 22, 1977, Bill and Ida tied the knot and have had an incredible 43 years of marriage together.
Bill was survived by his wife Ida Gordon, sons William (Crystal) Gordon JR. of Montana, Jeremiah (Casey) Gordon of Mount Pleasant, Damien (Marsha) Gordon of Mount Pleasant, Daughter Mariah (Craig) Champlin of Weidman, Siblings: Kay (Randy) Sterrett of Perry, Ken (Frances) Gordon of Lansing and Jan (Rick) Logan of Florida, 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
William was proceeded in death by his Mother Mary Gordon, Father Donald Gordon, 2 Brothers, Kurt Gordon, and Kevin Gordon and one sister Marilyn Schafer.
A memorial dinner will be held at 3715 S. Genuine Rd, Mount Pleasant MI 48858 at a later date.
