Obituary for William Kent Gorman
GORMAN, WILLIAM KENT, age 75, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Masonic Pathways.
A Funeral Mass for Bill will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Loren Kalinowski officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday, May 23, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and on Monday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Those not in attendance may watch a live broadcast of the Mass on Monday, May 24, at 11 a.m. by clicking the “Watch Webcast” icon on Bill's Book of Memory at www.clarkfuneralchapel.com or Facebook.com/clarkfuneralchapel. Bill was born July 19, 1945, in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Richard and Cora Belle (Kent) Gorman. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and earned his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University. Bill married Lesa Smith on October 6, 1990 in Mt. Pleasant. He was a parishioner at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, member of the Knights of Columbus and the Michigan Militia. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, horses, woodworking, and was a ham radio operator.
Bill is survived by his wife Lesa Gorman of Mt. Pleasant and best friend Gerald R. Watson.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Cora Belle Gorman; and other parents Estella and Charlie Munger.
