Obituary for William Joseph Myers Sr.

William “Bill” Myers Sr., age 53, of Rosebush, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, October 22, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Service for Bill will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Father Daniel Ahern officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Clark Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 26, from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue the day of the service from 10 a.m. until the time of Service. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Dominic Savio Chapel or MyMichigan Hospice. Envelopes will be available at Clark Family Funeral.

Bill was Born on October 10, 1969, the son of the late Billy Joe and Irene (Upper) Myers. He has worked his whole life in agriculture. Many years for himself as a dairy and crop farmer, but more recently for Rawson Farms. Bill met and went on to married Belinda (Travers) on May 2, 1989, in Harrison, MI. He is a parishioner of Saint Dominic Savio Chapel in Freeland, MI. Bill never really had much time for hobbies, he mostly put his energy into farming and taking care of his family. When he did get time, he loved doing odd jobs out of his shed, riding his side by side with his family and friends and taking road trips with the people he loved.

Bill is survived by his wife, Belinda; children, Ashley (Zach) Straus of Rosebush, William Myers Jr. of Rosebush; grandchildren, Luke Straus, Brittany Straus, Olivia Straus; brothers, Ken (Krystal) Myers, Roger (Marge) Myers; sister, Kathy Myers; sisters-in-law, Jeanie Myers, Dione (Dale) Haney; mother-in-law, Sheila (Allen) Weber.

Bill was preceded in death by his, parents; daughter, Brittany Myers; brother, Larry Myers; father-in-law, Don Travers; sister-in-law, Paula Myers.
