DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE MEMORIAL GATHERING SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, JANUARY 11 HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED.

TROFATTER, WILLIAM PAUL “SKIP”, age 60, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Laurels of Mt. Pleasant.

Skip was born September 29, 1959, in Lansing, the son of Robert and Velma (Wiertalla) Trofatter. Skip served in the U.S. Army from 1981-1983 as a wire systems installer/operator. He was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, Rifle Marksman and Grenade Marksman. He worked for Foltz Screen Printing for 25 years. Skip enjoyed music, art, playing guitar and piano, and loved to grill.

Skip is survived by his siblings Robert Trofatter of Sand Lake, Richard (Judy) Trofatter of Mt. Pleasant, David (Angela) Trofatter of Mt. Pleasant, Gary Trofatter of Ossineke, Mary (Jim) Myszka of Rockford, Shannon (John) Shelton of Ossineke, and Dixie (Bryon) Cartledge of Clare; and many nieces and nephews.
Skip was preceded in death by his parents; and brother DJ Trofatter.

We are so sorry for your loss. I remember Skip from school. He was such a sweetheart, Thank you for your Military service, Skip. My sympathies for all. Sending Prayers and Love.
