Timothy Jesse Beard, 48, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Central Michigan Community Hospital.

A Memorial Service for Timothy will be held on Friday, March 6, at 1 p.m. at Clark Family Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service with Jack Ridenour and Michael Helmar officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorial contributions in memory of Timothy may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

Timothy was born December 14, 1960, in Detroit, the son of Arthur and Thelma (Schwartz) Beard, Jr. He graduated from Pontiac Northern in the Class of 1979. Timothy served in the United States Marine Corp. Upon discharge, he worked as a general laborer in the construction and insulation industry. Timothy recently achieved his two-year coin from AA. He enjoyed spending time with his children. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions, Pistons and Tigers.

Timothy is survived by his significant other Jeannie Snyder of Weidman; his children Adam Hackney of Gwinn Gage Beard, Shelby Stockwell, and Sierra Snyder, all of Weidman; brothers Dennis (Nancy) Beard of Shelby Township and Barry Curtis (Barbara) Beard of Clarkston; and sister Rebecca Brink of Phoenix.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father Arthur in 2007, his son Blake in 2001, and his brother Jeffrey in 1955
