Karen “Kari” Lee Denslow, 53, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Ingham Medical Center in Lansing surrounded by her family and friends.

Funeral services for Kari will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Clark Funeral Chapel with Phil Beacon and Jeff Prout officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16th from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, September 17th from noon until time of service at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Cancer Service. Envelopes will be available at Clark Funeral Chapel.

Kari was born on March 13, 1953 in Monroe, MI the daughter of James and Beverly (King) Mull. She graduated from Redford Twp. High School, class of 1973. Kari married her soul mate, Dan Denslow on May 21, 1994. She worked as an emergency 911 dispatcher for 21 years before retiring on June 30, 2006. Kari was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the P.O.A.M. Union. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening at K.D. Farms, herb gardening, flowers and crafts.

Kari is survived by her husband, Dan; children, Jaime Lee (Jeffrey) Stegall of Mt. Pleasant, Jeremy (Angie) Denslow of Mt. Pleasant, Joel (Lori) Denslow of Weidman and Carrie Denslow (Kenley Foster) of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Talon and Cameo Stegall, Zane and Jayden Denslow and Kenley Foster II; mother, Beverly Mull of Blanchard; Father-in-law, Jason Denslow of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, James (Donna) Mull II of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Deborah (Richard) McQueen of Blanchard; sister-in-law, Joan (John) Maul of Mt. Pleasant; best friend, Tracy Hull of Remus; many nieces and nephews and her Central Dispatch and Law Enforcement family.

Kari was preceded in death by her father, James Mull and mother-in-law, Glee Denslow
