Obituary for Amie Ruth Reibel (Sutherland)
Amie Ruth Reibel, age 81, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 25, 2017, at her home.
Funeral Services for Amie will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 1, 2017, at 3 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. A Luncheon will immediately follow in the Reflections Reception Center. A Private Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends the day of the service from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
Amie was born on March 26, 1936, in Detroit, the daughter of Roscoe and Amy (Phelps) Sutherland. She married Richard "Pete" Reibel on September 3, 1955. Amie worked in the pharmacy in Central Michigan Community Hospital for 18 years. Amie was loved by all who knew or met her. We love you and will miss you Birdie.
Amie is survived by her children, Janet (Richard) White of CO, Linda Reibel of MI, and Brian Reibel of MI. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
Amie was preceded in death by her husband, Pete in 2007.
