Obituary for Anthony Joshua Robert "A.J." Artibee

Anthony Joshua Robert "A.J."  Artibee
ARTIBEE, ANTHONY “A.J.” JOSHUA ROBERT, age 24, of Lyons, Indiana, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, as a result of an auto accident.

Funeral Services for A.J. will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 30, at 2 p.m. with Benjamen Evers officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial of ashes in Chippewa County Cemetery in the Upper Peninsula. The family will receive friends on the day of service from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to A.J.’s daughter, Evelyne Artibee. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

A.J. was born March 27, 1993, in Alma, the son of Terry and Mary (Godfrey) Artibee. He graduated from Lincoln Tech with a degree in diesel technology. A.J. was currently serving in the National Guard. He was interested in anything with a motor and enjoyed hunting and fishing. A.J. loved spending time with his daughter, Evelyne, especially enjoying bon fires.

A.J. is survived by his daughter, Evelyne Artibee of Linton, IN; his father, Terry Artibee (Tina) of Mt. Pleasant and his mother, Mary Haske of Harrisville; brothers, Clifford Godfrey and Charles Harrison Artibee, both of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Marissa (Zeb) Stebleton of Alma; and grandparents, Robert and Mary Artibee of Barryton.

A.J. was preceded in death by his uncle, Troy Artibee and grandparents, Ralphina and Clifford Godfrey.
