Tony was born on July 3, 1966, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Harry and Trudy (Theisen) Smith. He worked for Unified Brands for over 25 years. Tony was well regarded at his workplace, getting whatever the job was completed without fail. Tony loved to fish and rabbit hunt with his cousins and friends. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the Florida sun whenever possible. Tony was so proud of his children, frequently talking with family and friends about their accomplishments and success. He'll be remembered for his infectious laugh and willingness to lend anyone a helping hand. He was our rock. Tony met his illness with patience and grace. He modeled those virtues for us and fought to the very end.

Tony is survived by his children, Trent (Nicole Yoder) Smith and Kersten Smith; forever love, Kay Smith; parents; father-in-law, Richard Gruss; siblings, Lori (Don) Fox, Diane (Jeff) Recker, and Reggie (Kelly) Smith; nephews, Caleb and Tory Recker, Andrew and Tristen Fox, and Austin Onstott; and the entire Gruss family.
Tony was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Bernice Gruss; grandparents, Frank and Frances Theisen and Harold and Luella Smith; aunt, Lois MacGregor; uncle, Jim (Barb) Theisen; and beloved friends, Charlie and Kevin.
