FREEZE, ARDIS IRENE, age 95, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Rosebush Manor Assisted Living in Rosebush.
Funeral Services for Ardis will be held at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. Earl Aungst officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A Luncheon will follow at First Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive friends at Clark Family Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 9 from 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
Ardis was born in Isabella County on September 25, 1921 to Nelson and Elsie Irene (Dedie) Aungst. She married John Freeze on April 25, 1943 in Isabella County. John preceded her in death in 1990.
Ardis is survived by her son Raymond John (Janet) Freeze of Mt. Pleasant; 4 grandchildren Ray (Gerolyn) Freeze II of Mt. Pleasant, Annette (Jim) Rathbun of East Jordan, Rod (Julie) Freeze of Beal City, Candy (Kevin) Chamberlain of Mt. Pleasant; 11 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; sister in law Donna Aungst of Rosebush; and sister in law Florence Aungst of Dewitt.
Ardis is preceded in death by her husband, an infant child, two brothers Raymond Aungst and Dwight Aungst, and sister Faith Freeze.
