Barbara “Barb” Lucille Bywater 67 of Harrison went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Barbara was born March 15, 1949 in Lansing, Michigan the daughter of Calmer and Martha (Morton) Wittum.
On January 15, 1993 in Durand, Michigan, Barb was united in marriage to Mr. Chris L. Bywater. Mrs. Bywater was a member of Community Baptist Church, Harrison, where she praised her Lord and enjoyed time spent with her church family. Barb enjoyed crocheting, reading Little House on the Prairie books and mystery books. She also enjoyed watching University of Michigan and Ohio State football scores, not the games.
Surviving Mrs. Bywater is her loving husband of twenty- four years, Mr. Chris L. Bywater of Harrison, one daughter, Eleanor Jeanette Dale of Clare, Michigan, three grandchildren, one sister, Martha Millie Wittum of Central Lake, Michigan, one brother, Merwin Wittum and wife Kristy of Kalamazoo, Michigan, plus many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mrs. Bywater was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services honoring Mrs. Bywater will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from Community Baptist Church, Harrison, with Pastor Ron Callen officiating. Visitation will take place Monday, March 20, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. from Community Baptist Church, Harrison. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
